Benguerra, the second largest of the five islands that make up the Bazaruto Archipelago, is approximately 9 kilometres x 5 kilometres and is home to around 2000 people. The marine life in the surrounding waters is exceptional and the stunning reefs are a focal point for diving and snorkelling. Game fishing is equally impressive, particularly for marlin, and evenings can be spent floating across the Indian Ocean onboard a traditional dhow.
